Welcome to the Irish Network of Terrorism and Political Violence Researchers (INTPVR).
Established in 2023, the Irish Network of Terrorism and Political Violence Researchers (INTPVR) aims to foster an environment to enable collaborative interdisciplinary research on a range of issues relating to terrorism and political violence. Members of the network include academic and non-academic experts whose work focuses on a range of issues relating to non-state and state led terrorism and political violence. There has historically been a vast wealth of expertise in this area provided by Irish and Ireland-based experts. This network has been established to fulfil the collaborative potential of this expertise.
Building on the wealth of experience and expertise of the network members INTPVR provides the platform to engage in broader discussions both within and outside of academia on key issues relating to members key areas of expertise.
As can be seen from our members profiles the networks’ expertise is vast. Members’ research focuses on central debates relating to radicalisation, disengagement, terrorist online content, gender and terrorism, lone actor terrorism, victims of terrorism, prevention, terrorist non-violence and so much more.
